To the Windsor County, Vermont RootsWeb mailing list: The birth certificate of TV star and general ne'er-do-well Bart Simpson has been found, behind a file cabinet at the Town Clerk's office, 96 Main Street, in Springfield. Rumor has it, it's marked "SHRED" but I wouldn't put too much stock in that. Don't everybody rush down there at the same time to get your copy. I was born and raised in Springfield (SHS Class of 1967), fifth generation in the Town on my Mom's side. And as dumb as this is, it's probably a better thing for the Town than the prison.
