Hi Joann Thank you. This Lucy Whitney and James Bancroft have a son James that married Fanny Kandell and their son Horace Bancroft married Arvilla Wheeler in Vt. Arvilla Wheeler was the daughter of Amos R. Wheeler and Lydia Adams that lived in Cavendish, Vt. and later moved to St. Charles, Ill. Arvilla was sister of my gg-grandfather Dr. Charles Wheeler. Dr. Wheeler migrated to Kansas but his sister Arvilla Wheeler Bancroft died in Ypsilanti, Mich. in 1888.
