    1. Re: [VTWINDSO] Timothy Bancroft, Whitney and Wheeler
    2. Hi Joann Thank you. This Lucy Whitney and James Bancroft have a son James that married Fanny Kandell and their son Horace Bancroft married Arvilla Wheeler in Vt. Arvilla Wheeler was the daughter of Amos R. Wheeler and Lydia Adams that lived in Cavendish, Vt. and later moved to St. Charles, Ill. Arvilla was sister of my gg-grandfather Dr. Charles Wheeler. Dr. Wheeler migrated to Kansas but his sister Arvilla Wheeler Bancroft died in Ypsilanti, Mich. in 1888. Some of the information I found on the Bancroft family was thru the DAR and also from St. Charles, Ill. etc. Patty In a message dated 5/15/2008 2:27:17 A.M. I had traced the Timothy Bancroft back a couple of Timothys, father and grandfather, I believe, but didn't realize that the ones in Rockingham were related.
