    1. Re: [VTWINDSO] MYERS BARNARD (BAB1naples@aol.com)
    2. Yes, that is Maria Barnard dau of Lucius and Abigail Holman Barnard. Maria married Felix 23 Jan 1848 in Cavendish. I do have a copy of his marriage certificate. He is listed in the 1860 US Census as "Phelix". "Felix" does match the record holdings of the NEHGS. The only other census he appears in is in Stonington, CT again, as "Phelix"., which might not be the same person I am looking for. His son, Edward Holman Myers, born 19 Jul 1849 in Cavendish, went to Felix Myers gravesite , I assume in Windsor Cty., some time before 1942. I was not able to obtain a birth record of Edward H. Myers which might have given me more information on Felix. 3. Is that Maria Barnard dau of Lucius and Abigail Holman Barnard? I have no Felix Myers in my database. Wouldn't mind knowing where he was from, though, as there are Meiers (anglicized to Myers or Meyers) in my own family. Thre is a Betsey H. Myers buried in the Pleasant View Cem in Ludlow, daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Wellington Ealon. She died in 19 Jan 1902 page 91 years, 4 months, 27 days. a widow There is a Summer Hill Cemetery in Springfield, where the Barnards are probably buried - some of them anyway. 2. Thank you. I understand, Felix Myers is buried in Windsor County, possibly in Summer Hill, where I think Maria (Barnard) Myers was buried (died 12 Nov 1888). I have no information about him at all. I have just found a Betsy (Myers) Spaulding and am wondering if this could be a sister or aunt of Felix. Do you have any information about Felix Myers? 3. In researching my Lemmex and Hatch ancestors from Windsor, I have found numerous unidentified pictures with the names of Windsor photo studios on the back. I am trying to identify the individuals in these pictures which were taken about 1830-1890. The photo studios in Windsor are: King Harlow Photographer Harlow Brothers Butman & Harlow Harwood & Stone, Corner Main & State Sts. 1. I know that the dates that these businesses were in existence can often be identified by their specific name or logo. Any dates would help me in identifying the people in these pictures. 2. Does anyone know anything about these studios? Is there any chance that some of them may have left records somewhere? (Some of the pictures have an account or item number written on the back.) 3. Any suggestions about where I could write for info about this? There are also a couple of pictures from a studio in Springfield, VT. I am certain that the same families of Lemmex and Hatch are subjects of these photos. This studio is also called Harlow Brothers. Thanks for any suggestions or help that anyone is able to offer. This really has me stumped. Sue Cole ____________________________________________________________________________________ No need to miss a message. Get email on-the-go with Yahoo! Mail for Mobile. 3. Hi again, Dianne, Did you find these books on Google Books? I just started checking those and discovered the Valley of the Kedron [I have that book, but hadn't looked at it]. I think the Silas Burdoo who was in the Civil War may have been a son or grandson of Aaron, but have no proof as yet. I hope to get to Bennington and check at the Museum Library as they have the first two sections of VT vital records on microfilm. I found the pension file for Ned Freedom, but am not sure it can be the Ned Freeman who was in VT in 1791. I checked the 1790-1820 censuses for Ned Freedom and couldn't find him. I then checked these censuses for Freeman [lots of them] and in 1820 found Nedd Freeman living in Fairfield, Fairfield County, CT. His pension doesn't seem to mention his ever living in VT. I appreciate your interest in this research! Joann Dashmom@aol.com wrote: >>> I had found all the pension files except for Ned Freedom.
