    3. Happy Thanksgiving! Hi Becky: I've been trying to connect the Stanleys from Reading to a John or John E Stanley. Most sources (very few) have a Stanley line coming from Rindge to Reading, but I lost the link forward after the 1790's. My GGGrandfather lived in Highgate/Johnson VT. I lose him in the 1810 census. I am assuming my John is the son of John and Sarah born in Rindge 1787/89. I have found only 1 John E Stanley who married in Enfield NH in 1804. The only source I have for the "E" is my Grandfathers death certificate. All other documents have "John". Any help or direction is appreciated. Have a great holiday, Charlie

    3. Gosh, I think I've started something. I'm glad you had good luck Joann. Charlie, I see by my index to Volume I that Patty Stanley is on page 112 and Joseph on 60. As I said, I only have the index not the book. Volume I has nothing in the index on Stanley. Also a Patty Stanley m. a Charles Mason Pratt in Reading 21 Jan 1799.both of Reading. Also, in some other records I have John and Sarah Stanley in Reading who had children born (some b. in Reading) from 1767 to 1787. Rindge &Jaffrey NH ties. Joseph and Lucy Hosmer Stanley had childen born 1773 - 1795 had ties to Rindge NH and Jaffrey NH Also, Joel and Nancy (Capron) Stanley had children born in Reading 1813 to 1820. Let me know if any of these whet your appetite. I'll give you more info. 3. Joan, Are you related to any Nichols in Windsor, Vermont? My husbands great great grandmother was Lucy Nichols married to Kelso Clark. I have been trying to figure out her parents. There is a Robert Nichols married to a Lucy Drury that I am looking out currently because the Drury name also seems to be associated with Lucy. She was born about 1846 in Duxbury but had her children in Hartland, lived in Hartford, and/or possibly Barre at one time. Just thought I would ask, you never know. 2. Hi Becky and Joann, I am related to Morris W. Cady born 06 May 1792, in Windsor, Vermont. He died 17 Mar 1873 in Alden, New York. Do you have any information on his family? I have a photo of Morris in my collection that I would be happy to share if that is of interest to either of you. I am VERY interested in family photos. 3. Joann, I have in index to the Volume I of Gilbert A. Davis History of Reading and Timothy Cady is mentioned on page 24. I only have a microfiche of that book and no way of reading it right now, but if you haven't looked there that's an idea. Becky Tucker ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joann H. 3. There were many Cady families in Reading in the late 1700s and early 1800s. Timothy Cady appears to have had a wife, Dolly Sherwin. I would like the names of their children. Two daughters are in the vital records, but they had several sons. Three of their sons were Fred, Riley and Roswell L. Cady. I would also like positive proof of Timothy's parents. Thanks a lot, Joann Nichols
