Is anyone researching HALL/WARNER from Weathersfield, VT during the years 1790-1820?
I live quite far from Woodstock, VT. I do know that my family is buried in River St. Cemetery. I was wondering if there was anyone out there who lives close to Woodstock that would be willing to photograph the stones of my ancestors. I am willing to compensate for film and mailing. Please e-mail me at [email protected] Thank you, Dawn
http://www.rherald.com/news/2002/0808/Front_Page/f05.html A very nicely written article in my local weekly. click on the above & check it out! BTW: those who feel inclined: I suggest emailing Dick Drysdale, editor of the "Herald" let him know how far reaching this publication has gone. I think he gave us some pretty good coverage. Joseph CHAPMAN and Miriam CLOSSON appear to have come to Hartford, VT from Connecticut. Joseph's estate was probated in March 1797. A son, Wales Chapman was given a guardian, John Gilbert, in 1805. Would like information on any of these people. Miriam was a daughter of Nehemiah Closson and Miriam Crossman. Joann Nichols

Hi Everyone, I've put a redirect in the ftp for Savage's Genealogical Dictionary of New England before 1692, King Philip's War, and the Vermont Migrations Page, but would like to give you the new address for the two sites. They are now located at: Savage: http://www.usgennet.org/usa/topic/newengland/savage/ King Philip's War: http://www.usgennet.org/usa/topic/newengland/philip/ Also Vermont Migrations has moved to: http://www.usgennet.org/usa/topic/newengland/mig/ Please feel free to forward this to other lists. I'm sending this to many lists covering many states, since most of the folks who immigrated to MI and WI started out in New England. Thanks. Debbie http://www.ahgp.org/
I'm proud to announce that Karima has agreed to take over my VT pages. I know she will do an awesome job and feel great leaving the pages to her! She will give Vermont the love and care I've been unable to provide it with! If anyone is interested in hosting a Vermont site, please let her know. I'm in the last stages of making changes on the VT pages and her name and email address will be reflected there tomorrow. The address is: http://www.usgennet.org/usa/vt/state/ Welcome Karima!
