Jan, I noticed your Webster interests. Would you happen to know who Solome Webster (b. about 1811 in VT) who married Luther Johnson (in 1835) belongs to? In the 1880 census for Ludlow, Luther and Solome, had a Benjamin Webster listed as living with them. Benjamin was 88 at the time and was born in Vermont. It lists his father being born in NH and his mother in MA. I'm not sure if this Benjamin is her father or what, since it only states "other" in relationship. Solome Webster is a bit of a mysterious woman in my line. Thanks for your help. Blessings, Jill Watters Rains
Hi Marilyn, Are there any Call, Mowry, Powers, Shedd, Webster, or Woodbury families listed in your Congregational church book? Thanks, Jan J. in snowy VT

Hi Amy, sorry there was no other news about Rev. Hazen. I found the Leonard obit on micro film at the Rutland Library. I thought somebody might be researching the Leonard line. He is No relative of mine. Jomarie
Thank you :-) I'm a descendant of the Pomfret Leonards. This would be my 1st cousin 3 times removed. Judson Lee Leonard, son of Samuel Hutchinson Leonard and Cordelia Maxham. He married Mary Knight. I guess Cordelia must have been called Linda. I'm a little confused about the J.J. because he shows up in the various censuses as (1870) Lee Leonard, (1880) Judd Leonard, (1900) Judson Leonard, (1920) Judd Leonard. How can I get a copy of the original obit? [email protected] wrote: >Source--Rutland Herald--Feb. 19, 1940 > > >RITES FOR J. J. LEONARD. > >NORWICH, Feb. 18--Funeral services for J.
