I believe Catherine/Caty was the daughter of Amasa Wright and Mary Chamberlain of Northfield, Massachusetts, but cannot prove it. I don't know anything about David, but there may be a connection--there were a couple of other Wrights, there were three or four other Wright males with connections to Hartland in the late 1700s: two of Amasa's brothers, Zaddock/Zaddeck and Moses, and a Wright who was a Revolutionary War soldier from Pennsylvania (I think his name was Asa). You probably know about Major David Wright born 1749 in Lebanon, Connecticut, who married Hannah Bailey and moved to Hartford in the late 1700s; they had a son, David, who married an Elizabeth: I'm not aware of any Sally or Sarah who married either David, and the younger David died in 1817, a year before Elizabeth, so he didn't remarry. I have a Ruth Wright who was born in Ware, MA. in 1768 but married a Nathan Lull in Hartland in 1787. Been looking for her parents. Any connection? Who are your WRIGHT ancestors from Hartland? I have a Maria, b. abt 1820, with parents David and Sarah or Sally. She was supposedly from Hartford but maybe it should be Hartland, since I can find no trace of her in Hartford. Ann A. Jamie, Thank you for the information concerning the Bishop family listed in the book. This Charles Bishop is from another line of my Bishop Family. The one I am seaching for was maybe born two or three years earlier in either Hartland or Windsor, the son of Eleazer Jr. and possibly Patty Bishop. He had a brother named Lyman and two sisters, Marcia and Rhoda. I have been unable to find out what happened to any of these people. Their father, Eleazer Bishop, Jr. died in 1813 and a Mrs. Patty Bishop was given custody of the children, but nothing in the custody papers indicates that she is their mother. Anyone have information on these individuals? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Eleanor Bishop Brotherton New York State

Could you check for Callahan, Carmody, and McMahon (also spelled McMann and McMahan). My great grandmother reported on several documents that she was born in Ludlow but everything else says her family was living in Charlestown, NH at the time and I can't figure out the Ludlow connection.
