My Charles was born in 1785so I doubt he was the father of your Charles S. Don't know where my Charles was born. Yes, we have Windows 98. We have the census bundle but I had trouble finding any Dickinsons in it. But they are not complete. Cushman does not ring a bell. I doubt there is any directory for Saxtons River. I'm from that area originally and it's a dinky little town, not even its own phone book. Charles' descendants are (wife) Catherine Jackson, son George W., dau. Clarissa, son David, and the rest of the list up to me. I can come forward but I can't go back. Afraid I can't be much help, but that's about the only info I have on that generation. He had some business dealings (land, etc.) with a Daniel, but I don't know which Daniel. My Charles S. owned the Saxtons River Inn at the time. He owned quite a bit of land and you'd think I could trace him but cannot. I've been up through the vital records and found nothing I did not already know. Thank! s for your interest. Kay D.
