I know that my grandmother, Anna May Marks, was born in Scotland Neck, N.C. And her father's name was William Benjamin, from Scotland Neck. He & two of his brothers were in the Confederate Army. Where is Edgecombe County? I know that Rocky Mount & Scotland Neck are both in Halifax County, NC. Look forward to hearing from you. Sallie
