Silas M. Snyder was born July 6th, 1824 in Sharon NJ son of Peter and Hannah [Miller] Snyder Silas died in Readsboro, VT Dec. 23, 1906 Almeda Snyder died in Athol, Mass Nov. 14, 1907 The children I know about - I think - are John Benjamin Snyder born June 25th 1849. killed at Thompsonville, CT. April 17th, 1864 Mary Cordelia Snyder born Dec. 8th 1850, married William E. Loomis Jan. 27 1870. she died Dec. 1932 Silas Asa Snyder born July 13th 1863, married Mary Jane Williams April 7th or 9th 1888 = She was born in Canada and these are my great grandparents. They are buried in Mount Hope Cemetary, Morgan Hill CA. She died on July 27th. 1922. Silas died Oct. 21, 1946 in Santa Clara, CA. They had 2 daughters, Florence Almeda and Charlotte. Florence was my grandmother, Charlotte lived in CA. Franklin J. Snyder I really can't help you with. Lillian A. Snyder married Fred Burrington Aug. 26th 1885 She died in Whitingham. VT on March 29 1892 This information is scattered and mostly from a family Bible in Calif. I really had to dig information from cousins. Hope something helped.
