    3. Kate, My heart skipped a beat! I have a Rebecca (Lamb) Clark with similar dates mine: b. 1792, d. 1879 m. Julius Clark, Whitingham, Windham Co., VT Julius died in 1866 that I know of, they were still married when he died. They lay buried in Pennel Hill Cem. Her birth year is per census work. I do not have her parents -yet. Still working this line. Perhaps they are cousins or related in some way. The children's names of Oliver & Rebecca do not fall in with others that I have in the Clark line. Let's keep in touch. >>...+Rebecca Clark b: Abt. 1792 in Vermont d: Aft. 1860 in Vermont m: 1808 in Vernon, Windham Co., Vermont (**WHO were her parents?)<< ---------------- Hello & thanks. I believe this Oliver Jr. to be the s/o Oliver & Meribah .. the Oliver who married Rebecca Clark in c1808. Can anyone substantiate this? 3. Sue: I was at Pennell Hill Cem. a few days ago. The names on the markers for the Julius Clark family, and those for the Joseph W. Cady family connect and suggest a direction for your research: Rebecca Lamb Clark and Susan Lamb Cady were sisters. In the Cady family cem. group is a Julius E. Clark who died May 8, 1846 age 18. Also in the Cady family group, are markers for Aaron and Mary Lamb, the likely parents of Rebecca and Susan. {gs dates point to births for Aaron and Mary circa 1767} Aaron Lamb, as of the 1800 census for Halifax, VT. had one son and three daughters. Aaron Lamb's property on Pennell Hill is the same property on which Aaron Clark, son of Julius and Rebecca Lamb Clark, lived and farmed in 1869. {Beers Map} When you find out more about Aaron's and Mary's ancestry, please let me know. My guess is that you will find them in central Massachusetts rather than in the Groton, CT area which is where the other Lamb family in Halifax originated. Best wishes, Connie
