In the History of Rockingham County by Lyman S. Hayes on 797 page is the family of Wolfe. It says that James Young Wolf(e) born 1815 married 1838 Roxby Sanders. I always assumed they were married in Rockingham but when I look in the vital records of Rockingham (compilation includes the early church records). They are not there. I know she was probably living with her father in Essex County NY at the time of her birth and possibly her marriage. So would it be best to assume they were married in New York? I cannot find any records of the marriage.... went through the microfilm at the archives and didn't find her either. Does anyone have any ideas where to look next? Thanks, Jean Sanders
