I just joined this list and just started researching my Dad's family (finished my Mom's). It's my understanding that we're descended from the Edmund FROST who arrived on the ship Defence in 1635. I ordered a photocopy of The Frost Family in England and America with Special Reference to Edmund Frost and Some of its Descendents published in 1909. Has anyone used this book? I'm hoping this will answer a lot of my questions. The Frosts wound up in Brattleboro, but I don't know why or when at this point. My grandfather Raymond Minor FROST was born 3/7/1883 to Edward Greenleaf FROST and Jessie DAVIS. He married Ruth Agnes CALLAHAN of Charlestown NH. My father R. Minor Frost died in 1992 and his sister Ruth Anne Bricker, doesn't have much information. Robin Van Mechelen in Maryland
