Hi, This may not be of much help, but there is record of an Elijah (not Elisha) Cook in Putney - birth and marriage but not death. This info from Vital Records of Putney, VT compiled by Ken Stevens and published by Genealogical Society of Vermont: Births/baptisms, p. 24: Elijah Cook, ch. Elijah and Lacsa, June 7, 1781. Other children w/same parents: Cromwell, July 19, 1789; Francis, Sept 11, 1783; John, June 15, 1785; Lacsa, Apr 7 1791, Ralph, Mar 2, 1787; Ruth, Jan 18, 1780; Samuel, Oct 17, 1793. Don't know if this is the same one you're looking for but since first names were so close thought it might help. Happy hunting, Sally Smith Marriages/Intentions: p 154 Elijah Cook, of Fallom, and Alease Hartwell, int. February 1779.

February 1779. I think that FALLOM should be FULLAM, the original name for Dummerston, VT. -- Ruth Barton [email protected] Westminster, VT
