    1. Re: War of 1812; Joshua Phillips of Marlboro, VT./ d. Sackett's Harbor, NY.
    2. Does anyone have access to Old War pension records? Some of the info re pension records were not available to me on the Vermont website. I am seeking information of soldier Joshua Phillips of Marlboro, VT. He was killed Sept. 17, 1814 at Sackett's Harbor, NY. Ref: History of Marlboro. State of Vermont Roster of Soldiers in the War of 1812-14, page 334. He was married to Catherine Bruce, a dau of Elijah Bruce, Rev War veteran of Grafton, Mass., who moved to Marlboro, VT. early 1800. His daughter Catherine married Joshua Phillips, who was in the war of 1812 and shot in battle near Sackett's Harbor, NY. Ref: Vermont Historical Magazine list of Rev War veterans, page 448; Bennington Library, Bennington, VT. Would like to learn if his widow Catherine, applied for a pension and what their childrens names were? Any help would be most appreciated! Thank you. Julia Cincinnati, OH
