Fannie married Nathaniel EGGLESTON HOOKER who was b. in Hartford CT. After their first three children were born, they migrated to Western Ohio. The third child was born in "Bennington, New York," which I have alternately taken to mean the tiny town near the eastern edge of Lake Erie in NY, and what is now Bennington VT, which appears at one time to have been part of New York, and not Vermont. It appears that many people from Hartford settled in Windham County, and I see many familiar names among the names of Windham. Would appreciate any clues to the CHURCH, HOOKER, WEBSTER and other formerly Hartford families -- especially those of physicians and ministers.
