Nathan, the son of Benjamin and Dorothy Arnold, who married Sarah Clark, is in the 1790 census and received land from Josiah Ferrell of Palmer, in 1784; in 1789 Nathan deeded a part to Nathaniel Jacobs, one side being bounded by a line running through the house of Nathaniel and Peter Jacobs. In the same year Nathan deeded another portion to Peter who deeded to Stephen Jacobs and Stephen to Elnathan, in 1808. All quoted from the Official History. Let me know if you want more Jacobs info; there are no cemetery records for Nathan or Sarah in Guilford. Helga
