Hello, Looking for information on my ggg-grandmother Sarah (Sally?) HOWE, b. 11 Feb 1808 in Vermont (town unknown). m. Edward S. BELLAMY 25 Mar 1835 in Townshend, d. 18 Mar 1882 in Townshend, buried in Twitchell Cemetery. I called the Townshend Town Clerk, Cynthia Davis, who was somewhat rude and very unhelpful... is there anybody in this area that does town hall lookups? I'm willing to pay for someone to look info up for me, namely, the parents of Sarah -- I'm clueless as to who they are. All I know, from her certificate, is they were born in Vermont. When I do searches on ancestry, there are just under 2,000 Sarah Howe's -- I know it's a really common name. Any help or suggestions on where else to look would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Hi Susie, From the nearest LDS Family History Library, you might try ordering the filmed version of "HOWE GENEALOGIES" by Daniel Wait Howe. It was published in 1929 by the New England Historic Genealogical Society. Its call number is FHL US/CAN Film 982156 Good luck Dave B *********** REPLY SEPARATOR *********** On 2/27/2002 at 8:10 PM Susie Clayton wrote: >Hello, > >Looking for information on my ggg-grandmother Sarah (Sally?) Hi, I have emailed the historical society, and they were very helpful. Might be worth a try. http://www.townshendvt.org/index1.htm Good luck, Mary ----- Original Message ----- From: "Susie Clayton" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, February 27, 2002 9:10 PM Subject: [VTWINDHA] Sarah HOWE - Townshend?? > Hello, > > Looking for information on my ggg-grandmother Sarah (Sally?)
