Silas was married to Polly (Polley) WHITNEY on Oct 21, 1802 in Hartford, Windsor Co.,VT. Polly WHITNEY was born Aug 6, 1785 in Halifax, Windham County,VT. Polly is the daughter of Jonathan WHITNEY and Mary (Polly) WOODARD. Jonathan WHITNEY probably from Malden, MASS. Silas and Polly CALL did migrate to New York; they had some of their THIRTEEN children in VT & possibly NH and rest in New York. Silas CALL appeared in the 1810 census (Syles CALL) in New York, Genesee County. Silas CALL appeared on the census in 1820 in Mentz, Cayuga County, NY. Silas CALL died about 1829 in ?Cayuga County, NY. He was ill with influenza about 1829. Polly WHITNEY CALL re-married to one Robert THOMPSON. Polly was living about 1832 in Horse Heads, Chemung Co., NY. Polly was living in 1840 in Addison, Steuben County, NY. Polly was ill with Apoplexy about 1844 in Addison, Steuben County, New York.
