In the Official History of Guilford p. 149, 1961; under the listing of "Heads of Families in Guilford in 1790 with total number of people in each family" it lists a John CAMP 7. Also, there is a James CAMP showing 3 in his family. There is no other info in the book index on the Camp name. Regards, pw. I'm looking for tombstone readings for LEE's in Vernon, Vt. I am searching for information on John Camp/Kemp Sr., born about 1750 (in Connecticut according to one source) and who was residing in Guilford, Windham Co., VT in 1790. Known children were Reuben, John Jr., and Asahel Camp. His son Reuben Camp married Polly Foster in Guilford in 1799. Any information on the Camp or Foster families during this period would be greatly appreciated. > > Sincerely, > > Tom > > ==== VTWINDHA Mailing List ==== > GenConnect ~ Obituary, have one?
