I do not have locations for their parents, but was told by my husband's grandmother that Matthew was born in Schrewsbury, Mass. I also have a letter written by my husband's g-grandmother claiming that "Huldah Putnam was a neice of Gen. Israel Putnam," which would make Jesse the General's brother. Unfortunately, I have not been able to confirm it.
