I'm not on the families that your researching. I was wondering if you have seen these Hildreth/ Whipple names: Grafton- Littleton N.H. Lorin Hildreth and Hannah. Daughter Nettie or Phnettia or with an F. She married Simon Oakes Whipple He was son of Rufus Whipple and Philinda Oakes of Franconia ,Grafton. N.H. Found Rufus Whipple living with his daughter Lucretia Butter in the 1880 of Newport, Orleans County, Vt. Rufus was 77 years old. His wife must have died she wasn't listed. Lorin Hildreth family on Littleton, Grafton N.H. His daughter Fynetta married PVT Simon Oakes Whipple in 1848 at the justice of the peace Sewill Richardson of Hill, N.H. I don't know if this is Hill or short for Sugar HIll? Simon and Nettia were living in Littleton , Grafton ,N.H. in 1850 and in 1860 were in Orleans Co Newport, Vt and inn 1880 Nettie HIldreth Whipple's mother Hanna was 80 years old living with them Hannahs husband is not listed. If you can give me any leads on these families I would appricate the hepl. I was close. There was a Peggy Auger who put a quer out in 2001 that she was working and has the Marriage certificate on Rufus and Philinda Oakes Whipple and she must have changed her e-mail address.
