Hi Jim and other Scott's I have seen the graves of Shepard and Eunice. They are in Townshend, VT. but I didn't realize that the cemetery is named "Scott" They are probably not my line but I do have death dates and approximate birth dates. I am trying to find the parents and place of birth for Robert Scott. He was born approx 1763 and married Hannah Hazeltine in Townshend, VT in 1789. About 1800 they moved to Bakersfield, VT where he died in 1832. There were many Scott's in Windham County about that time. Don't think that they were all related but there were similar names. Would like to share information. Hey, Cous, There is a Hunt family in So. Derry. And my cousin, Bonnie, is married into it kinda thru the West family. If I remember right, Mrs. Hunt and Mona West were sisters.........it keeps going around! :) Talk about going around....you should see this Howard mess. One died here in Bratt I guess by self-induced abortion in the 3rd month. A couple died at the Retreat and one step-son died at Waterbury. And I'm still trying to get this all figured out!! It figures that the Fairbrothers would be involved. <VVBG> Feeling a little better but have to sit down and write a letter to Bob and I keep putting it off because I'm not really sure what to say. Well, I know what I want to say just not quite how to say it...... Glad to hear Dave did so well. Thought it would have been bad fishing with the water so high. Have a good afternoon. I'm going to rest........after I get Ryan. TTYS Fred

Folks, I note from the Windham County Rootsweb page that there is a "Scott" cemetery in Windham County. There is also a covered bridge called the Scott bridge which is near the old Scott family farm (I have photos of this farm). As my family line is Scott, I would be interested to know if a list of burials at this cemetery has been done. Cheers.
