Am really sorry but the ones I am researching from Windham County, Newfane and Halifax are Cyrus Wheeler born 1784 and Hannah Clark born 1787. Jean
Eleazer WHITNEY was probably born in Massachusetts, about 1755-1758. He died 10 June 1840 in Halifax, Windham Co., VT. He was married on 3 Aug. 1784 in Halifax to Martha CROSIER. He served in the Revolutionary War from Brookfield, Worcester Co., MA and received a pension. I have been unable to find a birth for him anywhere in Worcester County by using the CD for that county. Does anyone recognize him and can they help me with his ancestry? Thanks a lot, Joann Nichols [email protected]

Almira (sometimes spelled Elmira) is my great-great-great-great grandmother. I have been looking for information both further back on the Packer and Gould lines and forward on the siblings of Elmira, who married Zeno Kent and had six children. She lived outside of Aurora all her life. She died in 1867 and rests in the Zero Kent plot in the Aurora Graveyard.
I have the same Gould children, except Sarah and Sally are the same and Thomas Packer died young, so perhaps that is your 7. Have you birth dates for the other children besides Lewis???Thanks, Helga
Thanks alot but the names I am researching are Wheeler and Clark of Newfane and Halifax, Vermont. Really great to have you answer though. Jean

She married Thomas Gould Jr. in 1818. He was born in Guilford, Vermont in 1796. In about 1830 - 1835 they migrated with their family to Aurora, Portage Co., Ohio. They had seven children - a son Lewis B. Gould born Jan. 12, 1821 who is my great great grandfather. I have the following listed as the children of Thomas Gould Jr. and Rebecca Packer : Lewis B., Thomas Packer, Amanda, Ruth, Lydia, Sarah, Eunice, Almira and Sally. I know this is nine names but I don't know which are correct. If this is the same Rebecca Packer/Thomas Gould I have info on both families that might help you.
