    3. Hello, my name is Jason Sartwell; I am very interested in the SARTWELL or SARTWELL's in the old cemetery at Walpole, NH. I was about to make a trip there but the snow ended that. Do you any other information on the SARTWELL's buried there, first names, etc? My immediate family was there or very close to there, Claremont, Croydon and Newport. I live not too far from Otsego Co. and have done some research at the historical society there. I too have seen Lemuel Sergent's will. That is the only reference I have seen to Pelatiah. The other strange thing is that there is another daughter of Lemuel Sergent mentioned in the histories of Milford. She is said to have married Barnabas Bates (Tamer Bates' brother). However, she is not mentioned in the will. I have visited Barnabas' grave and he is buried with Elizabeth Bates (his wife), but the history books. I definitely think we can help each other if even we just eliminate sources that have already been searched by one of us. Hopefully we can work together. Contact me!

The only Albert Gobar I have been able to locate in the Vermont censuses after that is one in the 1860 census who was married to an Almira M. The ages were close to those in the marriage record and I'm thinking maybe the "M." in Almira's middle name was for Martha. I have also located a couple of Vermont Civil War entries for an Albert Gobar but cannot tell if they are the same person. Richard
