My brother lives in Brattleboro and actually had a together .net address about a year ago. I believe the reason he gave it up was because they no longer existed. I can't recall seeing anyone from VT with that server lately. Diane Darville
Does anyone have any knowledge of a place in Windham County that was referred to as the Dea. Dyer farm? (I don't know if Dea. is for Deacon.) Is there a cemetery there? It was mentioned in the 1893 obituary of my ggg grandmother, Laurinda Kennan Fisher, as they place where her oldest child was buried. Her children were born in the 1820's. In the 1893 obit it says, "the Dea. Dyer farm, so-called in early history" so it must have had a different name by the time the obit was written. Any information will be appreciated. Betty Clingman
I am new to this list, having just started researching my father's FROST family (Edmund landed in Boston in 1635). They wound up in Brattleboro but I don't know when. From Vermont web sites I tried e-mailing the historical society and All Souls Unitarian Church in Brattleboro. They had a together.net e-mail address, and both came back with a We DOn't KNow This Address. I got a slightly different address also with together.net for All Souls from my Unitarian church, but this one didn't work either. I'm beginning to think together.net went down the tubes. Does anyone have different e-mails for the church and historical society? If not, do you have the snail mail address? Robin in Maryland

The surnames in the following list are found in the Village Cemetery in Walpole, Cheshire County, New Hampshire. The Village Cemetery is an expansion of the Old Cemetery. The oldest burial is 1789, so many original settlers of Walpole are here. Walpole, NH borders Westminster, VT via the Connecticut River. Some of these people buried in Walpole came from Westminster, VT, or have family now in Westminster, such as: SMITH went from Westminster to Walpole, KURKUL has descendants in Westminster with BOOTH connections, GORHAM family from Westminster to Walpole with BEMIS & HAYWARD connections, and there were people who lived in Westminster that had FAY and WATKINS ancestors from Walpole.
