I was having problems with my computer for a while. But thanks for trying!! Do you know when Deborah Hildreth died and where? I would also need Mary Tiffany's death date/place. I have nothing except birthdates for Daniel and Deborah's other children (not counting Cynthia). I would be really appreciative if you had that info. I'm confused about Daniel's parents. I haven't researched any documentation/sources yet, but some say Abraham is his dad and other people say Daniel is. I'm also researching Dingman. I have an Elizabeth Dingman b. 1793 Schoharie, Schoharie Co., NY and then moved to Ontario CAN about 1812. Her father was Johannes Dingman and mother was Maria Bauck. Please e-mail me at my new e-mail: [email protected] Thank you.

My Daniel, which I am sure is yours too, was born 13 Apr 1749, a son of Daniel Whipple and Martha (?). He died in 1798 in Pennsylvania. Do you need birth dates, or any info on the children? According to my info all the children were born in Brattleboro, Windham Co., VT. The parents were too. Let me know if you need any more info.
My FROST ancestors moved from MA to Brattleboro, but I don't know when. They arrived in MA in 1635. I've ordered a 1909 family history, which will help. Emily S. Frost married a William MINOR. Found them in the 1910 Census for Brattleboro. My grandfather was Raymond Minor Frost and my father RMF Jr., apparently named after this or another Minor. Does anyone have information on the MInors? I'm also looking for information on the GREENLEAF family. My great-grandfather was Edward Greenleaf Frost. I have a document promoting Stephen Greenleaf, Jr. to second sergeant in the "Seventh Regiment of Militia in the second Brigade in Vermont" in "Brattleborough" June 19, 1788. Also have a letter from a company in London dated February 27, 1767 with the upper left corner missing written to "-eenleaf Jun," which I'm assuming was Stephen. I'm trying to figure out how the Frosts are related to the Greenleafs. Robin in Maryland

Nathan, the son of Benjamin and Dorothy Arnold, who married Sarah Clark, is in the 1790 census and received land from Josiah Ferrell of Palmer, in 1784; in 1789 Nathan deeded a part to Nathaniel Jacobs, one side being bounded by a line running through the house of Nathaniel and Peter Jacobs. In the same year Nathan deeded another portion to Peter who deeded to Stephen Jacobs and Stephen to Elnathan, in 1808. All quoted from the Official History. Let me know if you want more Jacobs info; there are no cemetery records for Nathan or Sarah in Guilford. Helga

Hi, This may not be of much help, but there is record of an Elijah (not Elisha) Cook in Putney - birth and marriage but not death. This info from Vital Records of Putney, VT compiled by Ken Stevens and published by Genealogical Society of Vermont: Births/baptisms, p. 24: Elijah Cook, ch. Elijah and Lacsa, June 7, 1781. Other children w/same parents: Cromwell, July 19, 1789; Francis, Sept 11, 1783; John, June 15, 1785; Lacsa, Apr 7 1791, Ralph, Mar 2, 1787; Ruth, Jan 18, 1780; Samuel, Oct 17, 1793. Don't know if this is the same one you're looking for but since first names were so close thought it might help. Happy hunting, Sally Smith Marriages/Intentions: p 154 Elijah Cook, of Fallom, and Alease Hartwell, int. February 1779.
