Blake that lived in Cabot, VT in 1840's and possibly through the civil war. I did find one record of a Daniel Blake serving in the 7th for Vermont during the civil war. I don't think much of his descendents still live there as I haven't been able to find any listing for current Blakes there at all. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
