Chicago/NW RR Supt. moved to Clinton Iowa about 1861 but the family maintained a presence in Northfield. Some siblings with spouses may have gone along to Clinton, like br-in-law Roys Jones [of Northfield] and Geo. W. Scott. Father was Abijah and brother was Asa, who provided lodging for the Commandant of the Norwich Academy when it came to town. Grandson of Asa was Homer Asa who married Marie Price in Terre Haute, Ind. in 1918. He is my g-g-father; I am in So. Calif.; am looking for cousins.
