Hood's Cook Book, Number One reprint distributed by the Bixby & Co. out of Montpelier. There are several articles with 1876 dates in them. Can anyone give me any information on either C. I. Hood & Co. or Bixby & Co. I know that the C. I. Hood Co. was out of Lowell Mass. and Charles Hood distrubuted a Saraparilla Tonic. The cook book was an advertisement for his Saraparilla Tonic.
