John CARDELL Sr. was married first to a Polly _____? I would like to know her maiden name, and who were John CARDELL Sr's parents? After John CARDELL Sr.'s first wfie, Polly, died (April 25, 1826), John CARDELL Sr., remarried to Adaline C. FULLER (I have no dates for this marriage, but they were probably married at Warren, VT, in or just before 1830). I am looking for additional children of John CARDELL Sr. and second wife, Adaline FULLER. They had one son, John CARDELL Jr., b. 1830 at Warren, VT - were there any other children for John and Adaline? John CARDELL Sr. died (about 1842 ?) After his death, I think John Sr.'s second wife, Adaline C. FULLER, may have married a Daniel BROWN. The son of John CARDELL Sr. & Adaline FULLER, John CARDELL Jr., married first (abt. 1856) to a Lucy Ann _____? I would like to find out what Lucy Ann's maiden name was. They had one son, Daniel Brown CARDELL, b. 1857, before Lucy died. In March 1860, at Brookfield, VT, John CARDELL Jr. remarried to Sarah Ann SMALLEY, b. 1840. Sarah Ann SMALLEY was the daughter of Barney/Barna SMALLEY and Rosanna ALDEN. Children of John CARDELL Jr. and Sarah Ann SMALLEY: 1) Hattie Russ CARDELL (b. 1864) m. William FERNEAU. According to the 1900 census, they had a child that died, and further census shows they remained in Warren, VT, but I don't know their dates of death. 2) Frank L. CARDELL (b. 1866) m. Mabel FERNEAU. They had one daughter, Alice Maude CARDELL, and they lived at Northfield, VT. 3) Alton B. CARDELL (b. about 1879). He died young - I have no date of death for him - but probably before 1900. (William and Mabel FERNEAU were siblings). According to census records, John CARDELL Jr., was living with this daughter, Hattie, and son-in-law, William FERNEAU, until his death - (I would like to have John's death date, I think it would have been after 1910). According to census records, John CARDELL Jr.'s second wife, Sarah Ann (SMALLEY) CARDELL, went to live with her son and daughter-in-law, Frank L. and Mabel CARDELL, in Northfield, VT, until her death there, in 1910. (For some reason, John CARDELL Jr. and his second wife, Sarah Ann SMALLEY, were not living together after 1900 - they were not divorced). Any information or help with filling in the "blanks" would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
