I am very sorry to say that we did not find any records of Phoebe Batchelder. You probably know that mandatory reporting did not begin in Vermont until 1864. You might like to contact the Plainfield Historical Society. See the contact information at this link: http://home.att.net/~local_history/Washington-Co-VT.htm Plainfield has published a town history in which you might find some Batchelder information, as they are a prominent family in the town historically.
