WI. They had two sons that I know of, Wright b. 1825 Fayston, VT and James b. 1833 Fayston, VT. They may have had more, possibly your Charles. Nathan Benton Haskins lived in Fayston from at least 1820 to 1860 and then in WI where he died. I also believe that he had a brother, Wright Benton Haskins b. 1793 poss. Sharon, VT who removed to NYS early on and then WI in the 1850s, and that his mother was Bestey (Benton) Haskins b. 1763 Salisbury CT, d. 1838 Duxbury, VT who married 2nd Hezekiah Bruce of Sharons, Moretown, Fayston and Duxbury, VT.

We have not been told too much information on him. We think his name is Joseph Vanetti. He would have served in the armed forces and been stationed somewhere in the South Pacific probably American Samoa or Western Samoa somewhere between the years of 1940 to 1945. Anyone who has information on him I would appreciate it. He also was said to have returned to the islands when learning that he had a daughter. Her name is Ruth and she was born to Toa Olo. She has never met her biological father.

MANNING, September 1850. I also have some letters that Nancy and Cynthia sent back and forth from VT to NY. That is where I learned the names of Nancy's father and siblings. I researched the line of Ben Franklin and found that he was never married although he had children with a housekeeper. My grandmother (now deceased) thought the connection was that our Nancy was Ben's grand-niece (or something like that). Others researching the Franklin name have mentioned that it was actually through Ben's mother's family surname.
