Another contributor to our family tree had earlier found both a birth announcement and a death notice for the son, James. In our family lore, Anna and Clifton had three children who died young. Anna b. Rutland 27 Jan 1888, d. 1921; Clifton b. New York 1889, listed as an out-of-town attendee from Hartford, Conn. at Anna's sister's funeral in 1925 (Caroline Burke).
