Otter Creek flows through the township of Clarendon . I have been wondering if there was once a little collection of settlers along one area of the Creek, and that spot became a sort of hamlet, and was also called by the name Otter Creek.... The references I have seen to Otter Creek are (I believe) in History of Rutland County, online at www.archive.org Ralph, none of your names or locations are connected my Smiths, as far as I know. Darn it! Good luck to you, too. I know it runs through Pittsford. I don't know where else it flows. In 1991 I stood on the bridge and looked the water rushing by. I think I was on the bridge. I did see the rushing water I know:-) Barbara Southern California At 06:10 AM 6/29/09, you wrote: >Hello: > >Just wondering if your Vermont Smiths might be any relation to any of my >Vermont Smiths. > >Where is Otter Creek?
