Hello Sharon: Thank you for the note: I can see from your reference that Otter Creek is some "CREEK" ! some 75 miles long running north from N. Dorset and Bromley Ski Area up to Lake Champlain at Miles Point west of Vergennes, passing through Wallingford, Clarendon, W.Rutland, Pittsford, Brandon, and Middlebury, among others, where it is quite a river by the time it gets there. I have apparently passed over it many times in my travels in the area, and my relations have had properties in many of the towns along the creek and the neighboring towns as well. I do appreciate your helping me understand these geographical references.
