Ten dollars was cleared at the supper held by the young people of the Baptist church Friday evening. Fred Bowen went to his home in Saranac Lake yesterday, called by the serious illness of his father. A number from here attended the football game at Rutland Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. William Thomas of Granville have moved into the upper part of the William L. Town house on Church street. Miss Nellie Griffin of the Rutland Business college is visiting her mother, Mrs. L. Griffin. There will be a regular meeting of Evergreen chapter, No. 6, O.E.S., at Masonic temple Wednesday evening. Mrs. John Haugh and daughter of Rutland are guests of Mr. and Mrs. M. B. Carvey on Main street. Miss Jessie Ward entertained her Sunday school class at the Parish house Saturday afternoon.
