    2. Source, Rutland Daily Herald--Fri. Apr. 13, 1906. POULTNEY, VT. Mrs. Grace Wilson will sing at the Easter services in the Congregational church at Rutland Sunday. Mrs. Charles Graves is visiting relatives at Burlington. Mrs. William Lamb went yesterday to Waterbury, where she will stay a week with relatives. Mrs. John Hannan, Mrs. Amos Rogers and Mrs. P. Hogan passed yesterday in Rutland. Fred Barret, a student at Syracuse university,is visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F.B. Barrett of Beaman street. Mrs. George Gilman spent Tuesday in Rutland. A large number attended the maple sugar festival held at the Ladies Aid society at the Methodist church Wednesday evening. Mrs. F. Richmond has returned to her home in Adams, Mass., after a brief stay with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Peppier of College street. Miss Mary Ward has gone to Montague, Mass.,where she will teach school. A social will be given at Goodrich hall Tuesday evening under the auspices of Evergreen chapter, O.E. S. An orchestra from Rutland will furnish music. Mrs. W. H. Cook has returned from a week's in Hartford, N.Y. Robert Humphrey and family of Pennsylvania will locate in South Poultney.
