I am not related but it Doesn't seem likely that the Baptist minister in Ira was not the father, when he had been known to be preaching in the area since 1775. Also another record shows a Thomas Skeel married to Sally Hayner, 8/28/28 in Brunswick : by Rev. Samuel Merwin. Also Thomas Skeel presented Sermons before the Vermont Legislature in 1811.
