    2. Source, Rutland, Vt. Herald--Mon. Apr.16, 1906 Poultney, Vt. The funeral of Mrs. H. C. Howe was held at the house Saturday afternoon at 2 o' clock , Rev. C. Lewis officiating. The bearers were W. Prindle, John O'Keefe, George Whitten, S. Munson, A . Marshall and Ernest Marshall. Burial was in East Poultney cemetery. Dr.E.D.Ellis spent Saturday in Albany. Mrs. Wesley Ham and daughter Cecil are visiting relatives at Boston. Misses Margaret and Mollie Holland spent Saturday in Rutland. Patrick Dunn is in Fort Edward (N.Y.). There will be a regular meeting of the grange Wednesday evening, when the third and fourth degree will be worked. M. Holland of Rutland spent Sunday with his family on East street. The dedication exercises of the new Troy Conference academy hospital were held Friday under the auspices of the Irving society. Miss Belle Butler of Schenectady, N.Y. is with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.Edward Butler of North Poultney. M. B. Mayhar spent Saturday in Troy, N.Y. William Miller of Fair Haven has been visiting his mother, Mrs. Sarah Miller of College street. David Owens spent Saturday in Granville, N.Y. Miss Nellie Cassidy passed Easter with relatives in Brandon. John K. Farnham of Lowell, Mass., is visiting at his former home in North Poultney. Walter Adams of Rutland is with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Adams of Main street. Theodore Platt spent Saturday in Granville, N.Y. Transcribed by, Joan H.
