    2. Source, Rutland Daily Herald--Fri. Mar. 30. 1906. POULTNEY, VT. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur E. Horton and Mr. and Mrs. George Ripley went to Washington on the excursion yesterday. Mrs. Sarah Miller is at her former home in Blissville. Mrs. James Powers of Middletown Springs is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. T. F. Mayhar of Furnace street. Misses Edith and Mildred Phillips have returned from a week's visit in Castleton. Miss Mary Gilman of Rutland is visiting relatives here. M. B. Mayhar has returned from New York city. Harry Maranville, son of Mr. and Mrs. Egbert Maranville was injured this week while at work for the Borden Condensed Milk company at Whitehall,N.Y. He was helping load a large cake of ice when his assistant lost his hold, dropping the ice on Mr. Maranville's foot and crushing it badly. He was brought to his home here.
