Hi. Records circa 1790 from the Clarendon Land Records book indicate two SMITH children (Thomas, Susannah) died and were buried in Clarendon. Their mother Margaret Walton Smith died there, too; I have not seen any reference that says she was buried there. >From what I have found so far, the family owned property in "Clarendon" (may have been the Clarendon Springs area - this was the 1780's) and in Chippenhook, which is in West Clarendon. By hunting and pecking, I have come up with the following list of cemeteries in all of Clarendon township: Button/Pratt /Smith; Cavanagh; Chippenhook; ClarendonFlats/South; Dean; E. Clarendon; Edmunds; Matteson; Old Marsh; Parker; Potter; Tubb s; Wait; West Clarendon. I have not found the individuals I'm looking for in any of these cemeteries in any online database, including findagrave . Any suggestions? I live in Utah and can't go cemetery tramping in the spring. Sharon
