I am on the hunt for the original to see if it mentions who John's heirs were. This would be the perfect piece of documentation for DAR. Undisputable!! I have called and s-mailed Columbia Co. NY's county seat--Hudson--NO WILL :( I have called Albany Co. Surregattes office. They want $90.00 to look and woman I talked to was very nice and said she didn't think it was very hopeful as he died in Columbia Co. I have been in contact with Samboco.com David Samulson- has lots of wills none that he can find for Asa Douglas. I have s-mailed Columbia County HS. They have given me what they have on Douglas's from Canaan. NO WILL.:( The hunt goes on. Input on situation is welcome.
