Nelson, 86, of North Clarendon, Vt., who died early Friday morning at a local convalescent home after a long illness, will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Aldous Funeral Home,Rutland, Vt. Interment will be in East Clarendon Cemetery. Mr. Nelson was born on Nov. 2, 1879, in Sweden, son of Nelse and Helga Nelson. He had been a resident of North Clarendon, Vt. for 60 years, and owned and operated a saw mill and lumber business for many years until his retirement 30 years ago. He is survived by his widow, Blanche (Balch) Nelson ; three daughters, Mrs. Agnes Reynolds of Rutland Town, Mrs. Hildaburg Lanfear of Missoula, Mont., ad Mrs. Howard Haley of Cuttingsville, Vt.; two sons, August Nelson of Rutland Town, and Bradford Nelson of North Clarendon, Vt. ; eight grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Aldous Funeral Home, Rutland, Vt., Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
