One of my family lines includes a Sullivan. Margaret Sullivan, daughter of Thomas Sullivan, married Michael Lucas and had 10 children. They came to Vermont in the late 1860's and settled first in Wallingford and then East Wallingford. For that reason I started collecting Sullivan names in the East Wallingford, Healdville, Mount Holly area and this Michael Sullivan is one of the names I collected. I also have his obituary, as Joan has typed out already. This is the rest of what I have: Michael Sullivan was born in March 1828 in Kilkenny, married Ann Mangan, also born in Ireland, not known if married here or there. Ann Mangan Sullivan died 2-22-1889 as recorded in book 5 page 60 of Mount Holly town records. Her father's name is given as Timothy. They came over from Ireland in about 1860. Children included: Timothy born 7-23-1878, book 4 page 66 Mt Holly records Katherine born 10-1880 in Vt.- is shown in the 1900 Mt. Holly census as 19 years old living with her father Kate born 10-25-1884 recordedi n book 4, page 68 in Mt. Holly. I don't know anything about John, where or when born, etc. I tend to believe that Katherine and Kate are the same person.
