Source, Rutland Vt.Daily Herald--Mon.Sept. 13, 1976. MRS. JOSEPH WILDER. CLARENDON, Vt.--Mrs. Grace Wilder, 83, of Clarendon, Vt.. died Sunday morning in Rutland Vt. Hospital after a short illness. Born June 24,1893, in Wallingford,Vt., daughter of Charles and Addie (Williams) Wade, she attended school there. A member of the Green Hill Home Demonstration group, she was past president of the Wallingford American Legion Auxiliary. During World War 11, she worked at the American Fork & Hoe Co in Wallingford, (now True Temper Corp.) , and at several summer homes. She was with the Air Civil Defense during the war. Survivors include her husband, Joseph S. Wilder of Clarendon, Vt., five daughters, Mrs. Esther Wade of Baldwinsville, N.Y., Mrs. Marion Lewis of North Clarendon, Vt.,Mrs. Gladys Lanfear of Clarendon, Mrs. Mary Whitney of North Clarendon, Vt. and Mrs. Phyllis Smith of Central Square, N.Y.; three sons, Harold S. Wilder of Syracuse, N.Y., Charles W. Wilder of Clarendon, Vt. and Joseph Jr. of Wallingford, Vt.; 28 grandchildren and 36 great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Wallingford Congregational Church. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Wallingford, Vt. Friends may call at the Congdon Funeral Home in Wallingford, Vt. Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
