R. Sherwood Was born in Benson, Rutland county, Vt. on June 4th, 1839. His boyhood days were spent in various pursuits and attending common school, also a boarding school at Poultney, Vt. He is a graduate of Long Island Medical College, Brooklyn, N. Y. For nearly a quarter of a century he has followed his medial profession in Elyria. His office and home are pleasantly located on east Second street, east of the Baptist church.
