Funeral services for Carl Kaipman, 74, who died suddenly Thursday , will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Hastings & Congdon Funeral Home in Ludlow, Vt.by Rev. C. Arthur Hazen, pastor of Ludlow United Church. Entombment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, with burial in the spring. He was born Dec. 22, 1891, in Finland. He lived in Mount Holly, Vt. for about 20 years, and was a retired carpenter.He was also in the Merchant Marines during World War 11. Surviving are his wife, the former Katrin Skytta ; one step-daughter, Mrs. Viola Higgens of Levittown, L. I., N. Y. ; a brother ; a sister; and several nieces and nephews in Finland ; and six step-grandchildren. There will be no calling hours.
