Do not know who his parents were. He enlisted in the Revolutionary War from Vermont when he was 19 years old. Later, married Abigail Chamberlin. They had a son , Joshua Reed, but I think he was born in Rome, New York. John is supposed to have died in New York in February of 1828. Another reseacher found Reeds born in Pawlet, Ruthland Co. Vermont in the 1780's maybe he is related to them? Can you help me find my John Reed? Diane
