Spencer Downey married Eveline Downey b. abt. 1801. They were both born in VT. They migrated to Holley, New York area and had a son Charles L. b. 1835 who married Helen Howe b. 1842. They named their first child Zilpha b. 1859. Have no idea if there is a connection, but especially at that time family names were passed on. Do you have any connections to this information?
